We had a great meeting at Diane's house on the 24th. Our book club friend Kim came to the meeting and it was great to see her. What a wonderful surprise!
We also had a great time skyping with Karen and her daughter, Leigh Ann, all the way from Wisconsin. They were able to participate for the entire meeting. Isn't technology great.
Diane prepared a delicious meal for all of us and we had a lively discussion about the book, The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox by Maggie O'Farrell. Everyone decided that in the end Esme was probably able to go home with Iris and not spend any time in jail or have to return to a hospital for continued treatment.

In a businness related discussion we reminded everyone that book club begins at 7:00 and now ends at 9:30pm.
