DECEMBER 2009 MEETING

Our December meeting was hosted by Gloria on Sunday afternoon, December 20th, at 2:00pm. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch and then had an ornament exchange. Several members stole each other's ornaments in the Chinese Exchange and a lively time was had by all. Following the exchange we discussed our book selections for 2010. After that, we discussed the December book, Christ the Lord, by Ann Rice. Several members mentioned Ann Rice's previous books which we have read and we discussed her different style of writing at this time in her career. We all agreed that this book was a perfect one for the month of December. We ended our meeting with dessert, which was a delicious pineapple upside down cake and fruitcake cookies.

  1. Thank you Gloria for a fantastic Christmas luncheon and lively time. I loved my Bethleham Star, Wedgewood, Reader, and finally jingle bell ornaments. As you can tell, I was robbed by savage ornament stealers often! But how can one lose when they are all so great? I always love the feeling of friendship and exchange of ideas that stays with me after a WOW meeting. See you all next year... but that's not too far away.
